The Curriculum and Methods of Instruction Department began its work as one of the departments within the Faculty of Education at the start of the second semester of the 1991/1992 academic year. The department strives to achieve the following objectives:
- Preparing teachers for various educational stages.
- Conducting scientific research to enhance and advance the educational process.
- Serving the community by delivering lectures, holding seminars, and organizing workshops for the local community.
- Participating in the design and development of curricula for the Ministry of Education.
The department, which comprises 51 faculty members, offers the following academic degrees:
