برعاية عميد كلية العلوم التربوية الأستاذ الدكتور هاني عبيدات، نظّمت كلية العلوم التربوية في جامعة اليرموك ندوة علمية بعنوان “الآثار التربوية والاجتماعية للصيام”، بحضور عدد من أعضاء الهيئة التدريسية وجمع من طلبة الكلية.
وشارك في أعمال الندوة الأستاذ الدكتور محمد ربابعة من كلية الشريعة والدراسات الإسلامية، والأستاذ الدكتور هادي طوالبة من كلية العلوم التربوية، فيما أدار الجلسة الدكتور محمد العزام. واستعرض المتحدثون الأبعاد التربوية والاجتماعية للصيام، مؤكدين دوره في بناء الشخصية المتوازنة، وتعزيز منظومة القيم الأخلاقية، وترسيخ مفاهيم الانضباط الذاتي والمسؤولية المجتمعية، إلى جانب إسهامه في تعميق التكافل الاجتماعي وترسيخ البعد الإنساني في السلوك الفردي والجماعي.
وتأتي هذه الفعالية ضمن جهود الكلية الهادفة إلى توظيف المناسبات الدينية في تعزيز رسالتها الأكاديمية والتربوية، وربط المعرفة النظرية بالقيم الأصيلة، بما يسهم في إعداد كوادر تربوية مؤهلة وقادرة على خدمة المجتمع بكفاءة واقتدار
Yarmouk University’s Faculty of Educational Sciences Organizes a Scientific Seminar on the Educational and Social Impacts of Fasting
Under the patronage of Professor Hani Obeidat, Dean of the Faculty of Educational Sciences, the faculty organized a scientific seminar entitled “The Educational and Social Impacts of Fasting,” attended by a number of faculty members and a group of the Faculty’s students.
The seminar included contributions from Professor Mohammad Rababah from the Faculty of Sharia and Islamic Studies and Professor Hadi Tawalbeh from the Faculty of Educational Sciences, while the it was moderated by Dr. Mohammad Al-Azzam. The speakers discussed the educational and social dimensions of fasting, emphasizing its role in building a balanced personality, strengthening the system of moral values, and reinforcing concepts of self-discipline and social responsibility. They also highlighted its contribution to deepening social solidarity and reinforcing the humanitarian dimension in both individual and group behavior.
This event comes as part of the Faculty’s efforts to utilize religious occasions to enhance its academic and educational mission and to connect theoretical knowledge with authentic values, thereby contributing to the preparation of qualified educational personnel capable of serving society with competence and excellence.
