عقدت كلية العلوم التربوية في جامعة اليرموك ندوة علمية بعنوان “التوأمة الإلكترونية” قدّمتها الأستاذة الدكتورة دينا الجمل، بحضور عميد الكلية الأستاذ الدكتور هاني عبيدات، وبمشاركة عدد من مدربي برنامج الدبلوم العالي لإعداد المعلمين. واستعرضت الدكتورة الجمل خلال الندوة مفهوم التوأمة الإلكترونية بوصفها إحدى المبادرات التعليمية الحديثة التي تسهم في بناء جسور التواصل والتعاون بين المعلمين والمدارس حول العالم عبر المنصات التعليمية الرقمية، بما يعزز تبادل الخبرات والتجارب التربوية ويواكب التحولات المتسارعة في التعليم المعاصر. كما تناولت الندوة أهمية توظيف التوأمة الإلكترونية في تطوير الممارسات التعليمية، ودورها في دعم التطوير المهني للمعلمين وإتاحة فرص التعلم التشاركي والتبادل الثقافي بين الطلبة والمعلمين في بيئات تعليمية متنوعة.وأكدت عمادة كلية العلوم التربوية حرصها على توسيع نطاق المشاركة في مشاريع التوأمة الإلكترونية، وتشجيع أعضاء هيئة التدريس ومدربي البرنامج وطلبة الكلية على الاستفادة من هذه المنصة التعليمية العالمية، بما يسهم في تطوير الخبرات التربوية والانفتاح على أفضل الممارسات التعليمية الدولية، ويعزز حضور الكلية في المبادرات التعليمية الحديثة
Yarmouk University’s Faculty of Educational Sciences Holds a Scientific Seminar on “eTwinning” to Enhance Global Educational Collaboration
The Faculty of Educational Sciences at Yarmouk University held a scientific seminar entitled “eTwinning,” presented by Professor Dina Al-Jamal, in the presence of the Dean of the Faculty, Professor Hani Obeidat, and with the participation of a number of teacher trainer from the Higher Diploma in Teacher Education Program.
During the seminar, Professor Al-Jamal reviewed the concept of eTwinning as one of the modern educational initiatives that contributes to building bridges of communication and collaboration among teachers and schools around the world through digital educational platforms. Such initiatives enhance the exchange of educational experiences and practices and keep pace with the rapid transformations in contemporary education.
The seminar also addressed the importance of employing eTwinning in developing educational practices, as well as its role in supporting teachers’ professional development and providing opportunities for collaborative learning and cultural exchange among students and teachers in diverse educational environments.
The Deanship of the Faculty of Educational Sciences affirmed its commitment to expanding participation in eTwinning projects and encouraging faculty members, program teacher trainers, and students of the Faculty to benefit from this global educational platform. This would contribute to developing educational expertise, engaging with international best educational practices, and strengthening the Faculty’s presence in modern educational initiatives.
