في إطار دورها الريادي في تطوير الفكر التربوي وتعزيز الحوار الأكاديمي، نظّمت كلية العلوم التربوية في جامعة اليرموك ندوة علمية بعنوان “التحديات التي تواجه التعليم في الأردن في ضوء التجارب العالمية” قدمها الأستاذ الدكتور محمد بني هاني بحضور عميد الكلية الأستاذ الدكتور هاني حتمل عبيدات، ونواب العميد الأستاذ الدكتور هادي الطوالبة والأستاذة الدكتورة منيرة الشرمان، وبمشاركة نخبة من الأكاديميين ومدربي المعلمين وطلبة الدبلوم العالي لإعداد المعلمين. وقدّم الندوة الأستاذ الدكتور محمد بني هاني، وأدارها الدكتور محمد العزام، حيث تناولت الندوة قراءة تحليلية معمقة لأبرز التحديات التي تواجه الأنظمة التعليمية في ظل التحولات العالمية المتسارعة، مستعرضةً نماذج وتجارب تعليمية دولية رائدة أسهمت في إحداث نقلة نوعية في السياسات والممارسات التربوية. وسلّطت الندوة الضوء على مجموعة من القضايا المحورية، من أبرزها تطوير جودة التعليم، وتعزيز الابتكار في أساليب التدريس، وتكامل توظيف التكنولوجيا الحديثة في العملية التعليمية، إلى جانب أهمية الاستثمار في إعداد المعلم وتأهيله بما يواكب متطلبات العصر، ويعزز قدرته على التعامل مع المتغيرات المتسارعة في البيئة التعليمية.
وشهدت الندوة تفاعلًا علميًا متميزًا، حيث أغنت مداخلات الحضور النقاش وأسهمت في تبادل الخبرات واستشراف آفاق تطوير النظام التعليمي الأردني، من خلال الاستفادة من أفضل الممارسات العالمية وتطويعها بما يتلاءم مع خصوصية البيئة المحلية. وأكد عميد الكلية الأستاذ الدكتور هاني حتمل عبيدات أن هذه الندوات تشكّل منصة فاعلة لتعزيز الحوار التربوي البنّاء، مشيرًا إلى الكفاءة العالية التي يتمتع بها المعلم الأردني ودوره المحوري في النهوض بالعملية التعليمية على المستويين الوطني والعربي. كما أكد الدكتور عبيدات أن عقد هذه الفعالية يأتي ضمن سلسلة الأنشطة العلمية التي تنفذها الكلية، في سياق رؤيتها الرامية إلى إعداد كوادر تعليمية مؤهلة، تمتلك أدوات المعرفة الحديثة وقادرة على قيادة التغيير الإيجابي، بما يسهم في الارتقاء بجودة التعليم ومخرجاته
Yarmouk University’s Faculty of Educational Sciences Explores the Future of Education in Jordan through a Scientific Seminar Inspired by Global Experiences
As part of its leading role in developing educational thought and promoting academic dialogue, the Faculty of Educational Sciences at Yarmouk University organized a scientific seminar entitled “Challenges Facing Education in Jordan in Light of Global Experiences.” The seminar was delivered by Professor Mohammad Bani Hani in the presence of the Dean of the Faculty of Educational Sciences, Professor Hani Hatmal Obeidat, and the Vice Deans, Professor Hadi Al-Tawalbeh and Professor Muneera Al-Shorman, with the participation of a distinguished group of academics, teacher trainers, and students enrolled in the Higher Diploma in Teacher Education Program.
The seminar was presented by Professor Mohammad Bani Hani and moderated by Dr. Mohammad Al-Azzam. During the seminar, an in-depth analytical reading was provided on the most prominent challenges facing educational systems in light of the rapid global transformations. The seminar also reviewed leading international educational models and experiences that have contributed to significant developments in educational policies and practices.
The seminar shed light on several key issues, most notably improving the quality of education, promoting innovation in teaching methods, and integrating modern technology into the teaching and learning process. It also emphasized the importance of investing in teacher preparation and qualification to keep pace with the demands of the contemporary era and to enhance teachers’ ability to effectively deal with the rapidly changing dynamics of the educational environment.
The seminar witnessed distinguished academic interaction, as participants’ contributions enriched the discussion and facilitated the exchange of expertise and perspectives on the future development of the Jordanian educational system through benefiting from best international practices and adapting them in ways that align with the specific context of the local educational environment.
Professor Hani Hatmal Obeidat, Dean of the Faculty of Educational Sciences, emphasized that such seminars represent an effective platform for promoting constructive educational dialogue. He also highlighted the high competence of the Jordanian teacher and their pivotal role in advancing the educational process at both the national and Arab levels.
Prof. Obeidat further noted that organizing this event comes as part of a series of scientific activities implemented by the Faculty within its vision of preparing qualified educational professionals who possess modern knowledge tools and are capable of leading positive change, thereby contributing to improving the quality of education and its outcomes.
